With our next event fast approaching we’ve been working hard to get some exciting raffle prizes, but we don’t want to give too much away (figuratively speaking at least). But now seems like the perfect time to look at what you may have missed out on if you couldn’t make our last Soup in Hangleton.
If it’s food and drink you’re interested in then Get Stuffed Cafe gave Soup-goers a voucher redeemable at their cafe in Hangleton. And across the road The Grenadier Pub donated another one – and free pub-grub is always a treat! There was more deliciousness too as Intenso Cafe offered up free coffee and cake for six people at their chilled out place on Portland Road. We were definitely tempted to hold onto this one – we spend so much time there it’s become a kind of Soup HQ.
Soup-goers wanting to look good were in luck too as Suntrap Salon were happy to donate a tanning session at their salon in Hangleton and Hair Retreat offered a free cut & blow dry at their place in Portland Road. A great way to look good while saving money!
And those looking for a nice day out we got you covered. For the kids, Westow Play & Football gave us 6 tickets to their play area. In a lovely gesture on the night a raffle contestant winner selected the Westows tickets and donated them to Tamsin of Wide Berth so her mum’s group could take their kids for some fun time. All in the spirit of the evening.
While for the adults, Coral Greyhound Stadium were kind enough to donate two sets of 6 of their tickets to lucky raffle winners, enough for a large family or group of friends! And if that wasn’t enough each set came with a bottle of red wine: a Marques de Casa Concha courtesy of Hartley’s Wines and a Stowell’s from Warr News, both based in Hangleton. Would it surprise you to know that these were snapped up almost immediately?
That about wraps it up for the raffle prizes, but if you’re interested in getting your hands on any at the next event be sure to book your tickets and join us in November. 🙂
See you there!
